"We went to a show in Santa Fe - every single piece was so absolutely
stunning. Betsy, your work is really great. I bought "Figaro Tree Aria".
The frame is part of the painting (I can't explain the genius in words)
and the painting itself is of a stand of cypress in the Tuscan countryside
- with a large portion being sky, and the aria itself softly flows through
the background, infusing all of the elements. I love the website, by the
way. It was great being able to see the studio, and some of the techniques.
I hadn't realized Betsy had been doing posters for the Opera. The site really
captures the feeling of her work."
